Sanctions Expertise Hub (Center for Geoeconomics and Resilience)
As one of the focus areas of the KSE Institute Center for Geoeconomics and Resilience, the Hub researches sanctions imposed on Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine and their impact. The Hub’s work covers, among other things, measures in the fields of energy, finance, and technology.
The Center for Geoeconomics and Resilience was established in October 2025 with the financial support of the Government of Denmark.
The Hub builds on KSE Institute’s extensive expertise in economic public policy. Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the Institute has actively collaborated with the Government of Ukraine and international partners to assess the impact of sanctions and develop additional measures to maximize their effect and bring the war to an end.
