KSE Team Is the First Ukrainian Team to Reach the Finals of the Worldwide “BNP Paribas Ace Manager” Business Game

April 8, 2012

The team “75/25” consisting of three students of the Kyiv School of Economics – Arsenie Ciobanu, Sergii Kiiashko and Sergiy Meleshchuk  has finished third in the first round of “BNP Paribas Ace Manager” and will thus participate in the Grand Final held in BNP Paribas’ Headquarters in Paris on April 18.

They are the only Ukrainian team that makes it to the final, and the first Ukrainian team ever making it to the final of this international Business Game.

Over 14 200 university students (2535 teams) of 141 different nationalities have participated in the 4th edition of “Ace Manager”, the online Business Game of the BNP Paribas Group held in March 2012. During March these thousands of students, organized in teams of three, experienced the banker’s profession by solving online 14 financial case studies based on BNP Paribas’ three core businesses: Retail Banking, Investment Solutions, Corporate and Investment Banking.

Other KSE teams did also do well – the team “DND” consisting of Dmytro Popov, Nicolai Vicol and Dmytro Kovalchak ended 14th world wide and second in Ukraine. And also the third ranked team within Ukraine had a KSE representative, Liliia Murzaeva.

We are very glad to congratulate our students on their participation and victory and wish them good luck in the Finals on April 18!
