Biography

On June 9, 2020, Pavlo Kukhta joined the team of the Kyiv School of Economics as Chief Policy Officer. Pavlo is responsible for building the analytical potential of the School and developing high-quality economic policies.

From March 10, 2020 to March 17 – Acting Minister, Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.

From September 9, 2019 – First Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.

Held the position of Program Director of the “Holos” party, where he developed the party’s program.

2016-2019 – Adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

2015-2019 – Advisor to the Minister of Finance of Ukraine.

Kukhta was the Deputy Chairman of the Strategic Group of Reform Support Advisers, worked with Ivan Miklos and Leszek Balcerowicz.

Previously – economic expert of the Reanimation package of reforms, adviser to the Center for Economic Strategy.

In 2008, he graduated from KPI (computer science, specialist).
