Public lecture of Dr. Ziga Turk: “Future of Europe and the EU”

On March 21 at 7 pm Kyiv School of Economics will be hosting public lecture of Dr. Ziga Turk, ex-Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and ex-Minister for Growth in Slovenia. The topic of his lecture is “Future of Europe and the EU”
Ziga Turk was a Minister for growth in the government of Slovenia in 2007-2008 and also chief negotiator for the Slovenia’s accession to the OECD. He served as the Minister for Education, Science, Culture and Sports in the Government of Slovenia from February 2012 until March 2013. In 2016 he was a member of an expert panel for interim evaluation of Horizon 2020 in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies). The expertise of Ziga Turk is information technology, future global developments, with the focus on the role of information technology and innovation in those trends.
The lecture of Ziga Turk is a part of #UkraineReforms project, which was launched by Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies in 2014 in partnership with Kyiv School of Economics, Reanimation Package of Reforms and Stronger Together.
