In October, experts from the KSE Institute tracked the exit of 11 companies, including the Italian luxury brand Moncler, consumer goods giant Unilever, and others.<\/p>\n<p>These <a href=\"https:\/\/kse.ua\/en\/news\/70th-issue-of-the-regular-digest-on-impact-of-foreign-companies-exit-on-rf-economy\/\">findings<\/a> come from the KSE Institute&#8217;s ongoing monitoring as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/kse.ua\/en\/kse-institute\/self-sanctions-leaverussia\/\">\u201cSelf-Sanctions \/ LeaveRussia\u201d<\/a> project, which examines the impact of foreign business exits on the Russian economy.<\/p>\n<p>In total, researchers recorded the exit of 4 companies via liquidation last month: the lock manufacturer <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/abloy-llc\"><b>Abloy LLC<\/b><\/a>, food industry equipment supplier <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/ishida\"><b>Ishida<\/b><\/a>, maritime technology company <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/kongsberg-maritime\"><b>Kongsberg Maritime<\/b><\/a>, and Italian luxury clothing brand <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/moncler\"><b>Moncler<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, 7 companies sold their businesses in Russia: <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/a-raymond-group\"><b>A.Raymond Group<\/b><\/a>, Italian infrastructure equipment producer <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/anas\"><b>ANAS<\/b><\/a>, automotive supplier <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/benteler-international\"><b>Benteler International<\/b><\/a>, construction software developer <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/graitec\"><b>GRAITEC<\/b><\/a>, automotive parts manufacturer <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/magneti-marelli\"><b>Magneti Marelli<\/b><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/unilever\"><b>Unilever<\/b><\/a>, and Austrian insurance company <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/uniqa\"><b>UNIQA<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the KSE Institute updated the status of <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/fortum\"><b>Fortum<\/b><\/a> (now classified as \u201cexited\u201d following nationalization of assets) and <a href=\"https:\/\/leave-russia.org\/lindstrom-group\"><b>Lindstr\u00f6m Group<\/b><\/a> (confirmed business sale).<\/p>\n<p>As of November 6, 2024, 2,197 international companies (54.9% of the total tracked by KSE) remain active in Russia.
