The second edition of the White Paper on LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE REFORM IN UKRAINE: STRATEGIC PRIORITIES<\/b> \/Business and Economic Sector\/ – jointly developed by thirteen leading law firms on a pro-bono basis under the auspices of U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), was presented on 30 October at the second USUBC-KSE CONFERENCE ON LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE REFORM<\/b>.<\/div>\n

The conference was opened by Irina Paliashvili<\/b>, Chair, USUBC Legal Committee and Managing Partner, RULG-Ukrainian Legal Group and prominent speakers: HE Geoffrey R. Pyatt<\/b>, the United States Ambassador to Ukraine, Bohdan Vitvitsky<\/b>, Former Federal Prosecutor, U.S. Department of Justice, New Jersey, USA, former Resident Legal Advisor at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, HE Andreas von Beckerath<\/b>, Ambassador of Sweden to Ukraine, HE Luc Jacobs<\/b>, \u00a0Ambassador of Belgium to Ukraine, Dmytro Sologub<\/b>, Acting Deputy Governor of the NBU, Oleksandr Danyliuk<\/b>, Representative of the President in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Morgan Williams<\/b>, President, U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).<\/div>\n

Conference continued by panels \u201cLegal and Governance Reform\u201d & \u201cNon-Lawyer Points of View\u201d which presented by law firms \u2013 contributors to the White Paper and Commentators, KSE, VoxUkraine, prominent members of the Business Community, Civic Society and International Institutions.<\/div>\n
