Business education department is looking for a Study Programs Assistant

Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) is a World-Class University with a reputation for excellence in Economics Education & Research, Policy Advice and Business Education both in Ukraine and internationally.

We are looking for a Study Programs Assistant for Business Education Department who will be responsible for managing study activities.

 

You will be free to:

 

  • act as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
  • manage diaries and organize meetings and appointments, often control access to the manager/executive
  • book and arrange travel, transport and accommodation
  • organize events and conferences
  • remind the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines
  • type, compile and prepare reports, presentations and correspondence
  • manage databases and fill in systems
  • implement and maintain procedures/administrative systems
  • liaise with staff, suppliers and clients
  • collate and fill expenses
  • carry out miscellaneous tasks to support their manager, which will vary according to the sector and to the manager’s remit, eg complete some corporate governance reporting (to ensure that the business is being run properly and complying with legislation and regulations) or conduct research

 

Qualifications include:

  • English – upper-intermediate
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, law or any of the fundamental sciences or technical fields
  • Experience with responsibility for developing curriculum, doing training and presentations; developing or implementing agency training programs; public relations and marketing experience; project planning and program management; contract development processes; monitoring and evaluating programs; budget and financial management is preferable, but not required
  • Grant or program management is preferable
  • Excellent communication and computer skills; ability to develop own quality written products on Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Cross-functional cooperation and teamwork skills are highly preferable
  • Initiativeness and high level of responsibility in work
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
