Now it has become evident that the main danger for civilians at war in Ukraine is death from blood loss from shrapnel wounds after the shelling. Thousands of lives could be saved if bleeding is stopped quickly. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has confirmed to KSE the need of up to 300,000 kits for regional administrations, hospitals, territorial defense, emergency services, military, and Ukrainian Railways (Ukrainian state railroad company, evacuating people). So now our priority is supplying those in need with medical stop the bleed kits.
Our first shipment of 5,000 kits has been delivered to Ukraine to Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy and Chernihiv. 10,000 kits are on the way and we’ve secured 70,000 more from suppliers. We continue our Ukraine Humanitarian Relief campaign to raise 25,000,000 to supply those in need.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could support us and spread the word about our initiative among your communities. One kit can save one life. The cost of one delivered medical kit is ~$100*.
Thank you from all our heart for your support!
* The cost includes the price of the first aid kit from the supplier, transportation costs to Ukraine, unexpected expenses incl. customs, price fluctuations
